DAY 5 – THE HOUSE WE BUILD

Scripture:

“Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted.” – Psalm 127:1 (NLT)

Devotional: God is building something bigger than a moment—He’s building a legacy. Cathedrals built centuries ago were constructed by workers who knew they would never see the finished product. They laid stones anyway, believing the future mattered.

The early church lived the same way. They built with faith, unity, and generosity, trusting God with what would come next. Legacy always costs the present for the sake of the future.

“A life that is wrapped up in itself makes a very small package.” — H.G. Wells

Think About:

  • What kind of legacy am I helping build?

  • How can I invest in what God is doing beyond myself?

Pray: Lord, build through me what will last. I trust Your design and commit my life to Your purpose.

Dig Deeper:

💡 Live It Out — “Commit to the Legacy”

Ask God how you can invest—through faith, service, or generosity.

Comment: Leave a 🏠 if you’re committed to building God’s house.
