  • Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. Because of God’s love for us, He sent His Son, Jesus, to die to pay the penalty for the sin that separates us from Him. And then He was resurrected — He came back to life as the ultimate victory over sin and death. You can learn more about what we believe here.

  • Following Jesus is how you were created to live. God made people to live in relationship with Him. Until we make the decision to surrender our lives to God and live according to His Word, we’ll be separated from God and misaligned from our purpose.

  • Because sin separates us from God, and the only way to pay the penalty for sin is with a perfect sacrifice. Jesus came to earth as a human and lived a perfect life to be that sacrifice for us so we no longer have to be separated from Him.

  • A great way to begin reading your Bible is with a devotional plan to guide you. Here’s one you can try on the Bible App. You can also just open your Bible and begin reading. We recommend starting with the book of John. Focus on learning about Jesus by reading the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)

  • Prayer is meant to be a personal conversation with God—like you would have with friends, family, or a mentor. Take the pressure off. Let go of how you think you should pray and just talk with God openly and honestly.
