WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HAVE A
HEART FOR THE HOUSE?
The Rust City Church you’ve come to know and love – our commitment to feeding the community, reaching the next generation, making disciples, helping people find God in a new way – doesn’t exist unless people have a heart to continue to build this house!
This year, we are challenging those who call Rust City their home church to commit to give above and beyond their normal giving to advance the mission of our church, impact our community in greater ways, and create space for the next generation!
our 2025 INITIATIVES
new box truck
We use a box truck every week for our huge community outreach. Last year, we distributed 411,917 lbs of food + 70,776 diapers! Our dream is to eventually give away a million pounds of food!
We’ve already raised $18k toward purchasing a new (to us) truck that will be larger (so we can distribute more food to families in need) and safer (with a lift gate to protect the volunteers who unload pallets weekly), but estimated cost is around $40k for what we need.
new Kids ROOMS
Last year, Rust City Kids averaged 90 kids a week! While we can’t create more space in our building, we can build additional rooms in the space we have. This will allow age groups to be broken down more and avoid rooms being too full, which is overstimulating for our kids.
Our plan is to construct 1-2 rooms in the current elementary space (upstairs) which will greatly improve the safety and quality of the Rust City Kids experience!
When you give to heart for the house in 2025, it will directly support these projects & ensure that the ministry of rust city continues!
Look at what God has done
As we look toward the future, we have hope when we remember how faithful God has been in the past! Last year (2024) was an incredible year at Rust City Church. We are celebrating the miracles of life change and the impact God has allowed us to make in people’s lives.
Every number has a name, every name has a story, and every story matters to God.
