The Rust City Church you’ve come to know and love – our commitment to feeding the community, reaching the next generation, making disciples, helping people find God in a new way – doesn’t exist unless people have a heart to continue to build this house!
This year, we are challenging those who call Rust City their home church to commit to give above and beyond their normal giving to advance the mission of our church, impact our community in greater ways, and create space for the next generation!

THE FUTURE OF RUST CITY
This year, our Heart for the House initiative is being launched toward the future. As we continue to lease our current space, we are actively outgrowing it, which limits our ability to serve and grow. Your generous commitment to give above and beyond your regular giving will fuel a three-year vision to raise $3.5 million. This fund is dedicated to securing the future of Rust City Church—allowing us to expand our reach, deepen our discipleship, and sustainably serve our community for generations to come.
new Kids ROOMS
Last year, part of Heart for the House went toward building additional kids’ rooms in our upstairs space—because we were averaging 90 kids a week and simply running out of safe, engaging space for them. We’re excited to share that we just received approval from the City of Niles to begin construction this spring. This expansion is vital right now, especially as Kids Ministry continues to grow—now averaging over 100 kids per week—so we don’t have to turn families away.
Even with these new rooms, we remain in a building we’ve already outgrown—and one we don’t own. This is a necessary step to sustain our ministry today, but it doesn’t change our ultimate need for a permanent home. That’s why this year’s Heart for the House is focused on the future: to build a foundation that allows Rust City to serve boldly, without being limited by walls we can’t change.
