1ST THROUGH 5TH GRADE
On your first visit, be on the look out for our kid's check in area. You will be greeted by a Kids volunteers eager to meet your family, and you'll learn how Rust City Kids works. We will be there every step of the way (all the way to your child's age appropriate classroom), so feel free to ask questions.
When checking your child in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information: Family members names, children's names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs), for your child.
HOW CHECK-IN WORKS
You may check in your child at any available station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
WHAT WE VALUE
Creative Bible Teaching
We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives on a daily basis. Our passion is to strive to bring all of our bible stories and lesson materials to life! We make this possible by explaining the Bible through creative ways your child will understand and easily learn at their own level
We value relationships and know how important it is to connect with our kids on their own level. Every weekend, after the Bible lesson, we divide kids up into small groups with other kids their own age. Small groups are built to help kids discover more about the Bible and how to apply it to their daily life. During this time we focus on building relationships and helping our kids grow closer to God on a more personal level. .
All of our classrooms are cleaned and sanitized after every service. We value cleanliness and make it a priority for all of our volunteers. Each room is stationed with hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies, and all cleaning products are safe and non toxic for the safety of our kids.
Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened full background check, and every hallway is monitored by our security team.
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, and singing.
We understand that parents always have questions when taking their children somewhere they have never been. We are here to answer any questions you may have.
