green, yellow, and blue text that says RC Kids FAQS
  • The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God's Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they'll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.

  • Rust City Kids experience happens during the all three of our regular Sunday services. You can check your kids in starting at 8:45 am!

  • On your first visit, look for the Rust City Kids Check-in area. If you can’t find it, one of our volunteers at The Hub will be happy to help you! At Kids Check-in, you'll be welcomed by a volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how Rust City Kids works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member's name, your child's name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. After you'll be given a bracelet with a barcode that you can use when picking up your child. Our goal is to make this process as simple, and safe as possible! We'll be there every step of the way, so feel free to ask questions!

  • In Rust City Kids, safety is one of our highest priorities. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show your matching tag at the Check-in area in order for your child to be released to you.

All of our Rust City Kids volunteers are screened, participate in a background check, and receive extensive training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we are also able to send you a text notification.

  • If you have a child with special needs who might need a little extra support to participate in Kids, we'd love to partner with you to make their experience amazing! Please send an email to our Kids pastor, donnajean@rustcity.church

  • We strongly believe that saving, spending, and tithing are principles that kids can benefit learning, even at a young age! Money is something so closely tied to our hearts as an adult, and being a good steward isn't something that comes naturally - it's something that has to be learned. Teaching these principles now, in a way that makes sense to kids, will allow them to steward the greater blessings and rewards God has for them when they're older!

Once a child is checked in for the first time they receive a "bank account" so as they earn their cash they can choose to save, tithe, or spend their money - it's completely their choice!

  • Kids can both earn and lose money during their time in Rust City Kids. If any child needs corrected or redirected more than 3 times, they can lose money, but it can ALWAYS be earned back! Some of the various ways they can earn Kids Cash:

    $10-Good behavior and good choices

    $10-Attendance (just for showing up)

    $10- finding a verse coin

    $30- Remembering your offering

$80- Saying our memory verse with no help

    $100- Bringing a new friend

    +more!

If you ever have questions about this please don't hesitate to reach out and ask any of our Kids Volunteers, we're here to help!
