DAY 9 – JAMES (SON OF ALPHAEUS): FAITHFUL IN OBSCURITY

DAY 9 – JAMES (SON OF ALPHAEUS): FAITHFUL IN OBSCURITY

Scripture: Acts 1:13 (NLT)

Devotional:

We don’t have sermons from him. We don’t have recorded miracles.

But he was present.

Sometimes the greatest testimony is consistency.

Heaven celebrates what culture overlooks.

Obscurity isn’t insignificance. God measures faithfulness, not fame.

You may not trend—but you’re treasured.

Takeaway: God sees what others overlook.

Think About:

• Do I struggle when unseen?

• Is my obedience dependent on recognition?

Pray: Teach me to serve faithfully—even when unnoticed.

Dig Deeper:

Colossians 3:23 (NLT)

Mark 15:40 (NLT)

Psalm 84:10 (NLT)

💡 Live It Out — “Serve Anyway”

Do one hidden act of obedience today.

Group Discussion:

• Why do we crave recognition?

• How does God define significance differently?

Comment: 🌱 if you’re staying faithful.
