DAY 11 – SIMON THE ZEALOT: SHIFTED ALLEGIANCE

DAY 11 – SIMON THE ZEALOT: SHIFTED ALLEGIANCE

Scripture: Acts 1:13 (NLT)

Devotional:

Simon was a Zealot—politically radical, fiercely loyal to ideology.

Then he followed a King whose throne was a cross.

When Jesus becomes King, every other allegiance bows.

Jesus doesn’t erase your passion—He reorders it.

The Kingdom is not built on earthly power but surrendered hearts.

What once defined Simon was redefined by Christ.

Takeaway: The Kingdom comes first.

Think About:

• What competes for my loyalty?

• Is my identity shaped more by culture or Christ?

Pray: Align my allegiance with Your Kingdom above all else.

Dig Deeper:

John 18:36 (NLT)

Romans 12:2 (NLT)

Philippians 3:20 (NLT)

💡 Live It Out — “Choose the Kingdom”

Evaluate where your priorities may need realignment.

Group Discussion:

• What does Kingdom-first living look like practically?

• How do we keep Jesus above ideology?

Comment: 👑 if Christ is King.
