DAY 12 – JUDAS: PROXIMITY VS. SURRENDER
DAY 12 – JUDAS: PROXIMITY VS. SURRENDER
Scripture: “Then Satan entered into Judas…” – Luke 22:3 (NLT)
Devotional:
Judas walked with Jesus. Heard every sermon. Saw every miracle.
But proximity is not intimacy.
You can be around holy things and still harbor hidden compromise.
Small dishonesty grew into betrayal.
The lesson isn’t fear—it’s vigilance.
Guard your heart. Stay surrendered. Stay soft.
It’s not about being near Jesus. It’s about being yielded to Him.
Takeaway: Don’t just be near Jesus—be surrendered.
Think About:
• Is there a small compromise I’ve justified?
• Am I cultivating intimacy or just religious activity?
Pray: Search my heart, Lord. Remove anything competing with You.
