DAY 3 – CHEAP GRACE VS. REAL GRACE

DAY 3 – CHEAP GRACE VS. REAL GRACE

Scripture: James 2:17 (NLT)

Devotional:

Grace is free—but it’s not fake. Somewhere along the way, we turned grace into permission instead of power. We reduced salvation to a moment instead of a movement.

Faith that saves always transforms. Works don’t save us—but saved people change. Fruit doesn’t create life; it reveals it. Grace doesn’t excuse sin; it empowers freedom from it.

Scripture’s warning passages aren’t meant to terrify believers—they’re meant to wake us up. Assurance isn’t found in a prayer we once prayed, but in a life that is still being shaped by Jesus.

Real grace doesn’t just forgive you—it follows you home and teaches you how to live.

Takeaway:

True grace always produces a changed life.

Think About:

• Where is my faith visible in daily life?

• Where might complacency be replacing devotion?

Pray:

God, let Your grace continue shaping who I’m becoming.
